    Using that famous phase "please explain"

    I am concerned as I have owned many shares over the years which had "return of capital" (mostly dividends from REITs). In all cases there was the same effect of reducing my cost base by the exact amount of the capital return.

    If this is same for CER then it has some nasty tax implications if merger goes ahead
