Hi James, we appear to have something written in our JV agreement regarding the Arbitration process and timelines but the contractual details have not been revealed to us apart from the generisation that the process should take approximately a year. Without it, it seems to take a lot longer e.g some of COPs own arbitration cases have taken 3-7 years. Doesn't bother me there are some long cases out there as my assumption is that you don't need anything written in your contract to take someone to arbitration, it just makes things easier as you have a contractual obligation to turn up and participate rather than going through the courts first to drag the other party along.
