So the logical conclusion would be that NPV doesn't have any bearing on a company with a professional lifestyle and lawyer BOD who never even pretend to remove their hands from the cookie jar.
If SH here want this window-dressed for sale "mine" to actually go mining, you need to begin with pushing for a new BOD who actually wants to go mining rather than simply funding their lavish lifestyles and waiting for a flip at your expense.
