The actual truth is that the higher the gold price goes the higher probability is they will achieve finance. In a gold boom it's the marginal players who see the greatest returns. Financiers may see a project as too high a risk at $1,800 but think it's a great investment at $2,300. What the actual price needed for financiers I don't know but the economics are massively improving and the I expect that the total amount borrowed can be reduced (given the increased revenue) when they start.
