    The Chairman can't just press a button and get finance. There are some substantial risks for any financier wanting to give WWI a large amount of money (relative to their market cap). Now if IDC are evaluating the opportunity at $1,900 then the figures will look a hell of a lot better at $2,350 and very attractive if it hits $2,700. WWI is hugely leveraged to the gold price.

    I think if IDC is successful then that will de-risk the other lenders.

    The other big opportunity is if the gold price keeps rising then the total debt required is potentially reduced as they become profitable quicker.
