that the policy of BEE is dead, because Ramaphosa (ANC, & possible President) and DA is against BEE, which means 100% equity for WWI shareholders!
What I’ll add to that is the SA Govt (through an agency like the IDC) can sponsor approx. 30% ($16m) of a $54m USD start up funds, for a project (Qala) to bring in 924koz @ + $2000USD = $1.85Bn USD in top line revenue or economic output (taxable income) and 1,000 jobs for SA. It looks like a no brainer.
Both the ANC (Ramaphosa) and DA have said that investment (foreign), increasing employment and decreasing corruption is the pathway to SA success.
