LKE estimates power demand at approximately 69 to 82 MW.
Mid-point 75.5 MW.
67% of 75.5 MW = 50.6 MW.
Note, that’s megawatts - MW (one million watts)…not kilowatts - kW (one thousand watts).
50.6 MW - 50,600,000 watts is Grid Power.
Perhaps this is why LKE have never proposed to move Carbonation off-site.
At a $600 million Capex, to bring Grid Power 300km to site, still remains an impossibility.
The price of Lithium Carbonate 99.5% rising to $33/kg, only remains highly unlikely…but not impossible.
