The lost the case. Simple as that. No, they couldn't drag it out, because their case was without foundation. I don't know why the $300k, but I do know this was a mediated case, and often in negotiation, it is a a good tactic always to have something which you can concede. So those pushing within FG can at least go back to their company saying "well, we at least got something!"

While we don't want to be giving anything away unless we have to, that sum will be pretty small bikkies very soon. In my opinion only.
