Ski, I don't believe that to be totally correct that NAG is the only site approved from the EPA.....Well actually I know they aren't. Although I believe we are the only ones that can store massive quantities underwater, however lime neutralisation is also acceptable.
In addition, if you read page 62 of the MMRP document, it states;
Section 7.5.2.5 / page 62.
"There is currently significant capacity within metropolitan Melbourne for receiving acid sulfate soils and rock in accordance with the regulations."
