I recall that some time ago NGF refurbished its Kundana 1.0 Mtpa processing plant with a view to relocating it to the Company's Mt Morgan Mine Project in Queensland.

In the event that Mt Morgan is sold off, what are posters thoughts about NGF re-commissioning the Kundana plant?

With gold continuing to hover above $1,700 Aus, there may be a window of opportunity to speedily increase gold production (apart from the foreshadowed heap leach proposal already mooted) at Norton's Kalgoorlie mining operation.

An additional processing facility would allow Norton to "catch the wind" of higher gold prices and place NGF in an enviable position relative to other emerging gold producers. With a ten year mine life at their existing Kalgoorlie tenements there is plenty of scope to increase production throughput. It just depends upon the economics of doing so!
