    Well what I think the unions heavies are saying to the MP's is, we are giving you a chance to vote to decide which PM may save your seat.

    It's all about a new idea they have in the future.
    The unions are now thinking more people should be involved in selecting the next Labor PM, besides just the Caucus.

    i.e. 1000 or 1500.

    It might be a while before they try out the system.

    OXY.. you are spot on with your comment on Rudd.
    But never fear, the Coalition will "work" him over during the campaign, if he is successful.
    Rudd has no policies in 2007, so he will not have any now either.
    I do not think anybody has mentioned the possibility that Rudd may do worse. He is just all "yap", like them little dogs who cannot do any damage when they bite you.
