Great pickup, eagle - yes - there are in their 4th year not 5th as I mentioned. Somehow, I don't think it is going to make much difference lol. There seem to be plenty of excuses for this government. It's always someone else's fault. I wasn't aware that a government couldn't function unless it had control of both houses. That the mere presence of an opposition party could result in so much paralysis.

My point was simple. Governments are often criticized for "x" years of neglect (e.g. Howard in the most recent case). However, oppositions (e.g. Labor in this case) can sit around for the same "x" years then come to power and seem completely unprepared. Some people expect more, others are happy with what they've got. You and I can both freely decide our own view.
