re: news:uk bookies bet against multiplex. As a punter, i know the smart money is usually right. It's ironic because i was actually looking for british punting sites yesterday for a bookmaker who was framing a market.
The fact that a bookie has mxg odds to not have it completed is a real concern. As i said, usually the smart money is right. I'll be keeping an eye on the market. There may be some british contractors out there that are willing to have a wager in the upcoming months.
The walkway is a massive concern. The fact that they were supposed to start it in September is a real worry. Its just another blow that they probably cant afford.
Was it Goldman Sachs that recently (around November) did a site inspection and viwed that it will all be finished in time? Would be interesting to see what they have to say.
