Outlet statement says dividend pay out ratio 45-50% normalised profit.
Given forecast 2021 forecast EPS is 35c then forecast dividend is around 17c which at $4.00 odd share price is 4.2% yield not 21c.
Second issue:
If interest rates increase, bond prices decrease. Will CGF incur a loss then on holding the bonds? (For new clients increase in interest rates/decrease in bond prices will be good and no effect to CGF but what about for existing contracts with clients. Who bears the risk in the movement of bond prices?
CGF in the too hard basket for me at the moment.
Will just keep my small holding.
