Do you understand that if John Howard had done some serious 'spending' -

on maybe - John Howard shutting down the Australian Space Office in 1996 --

that perhaps we would have held our edge and been near the top in rocket technology as we once were --------- and we probably would have had a large advanced missile capability - and hence not have had to waste trillions of ridiculous deals with the USA

Or perhaps if John Howard hadn't been the architect of 'as little spending as possible' - we wouldn't have entered a cut cut cut race between political parties - and had enough social housing, better health facilities and heaven forbid - an educated population of actual Aussies

so much for the Howard architecture - Howard 'we thought all we had to do was to watch the spending and we'd be alright, we were wrong, times had changed and we hadn't realised it'

apparently - Liberal party supporters STILL haven't noticed it.

Why not? Don't know - it's a pretty simple equation - if you don't invest (spend) then, you can't possibly get a return or growth.

How is it possible that the party who is supposed to represent business misses this fundamental fact
