Since 2013 the Libs have accrued 700 Billion of debt which fed into the GDP in the form of budget deficit spending.
With an average of 25.5 million Aussies over this period this accounts for $27,500 per capita.
If we take that away from your $59,083 GDP/Capita (as you cite above) that makes it a net GDP/Capita of $31,583 !
Our $1 Trillion of Debt has to be paid down later + interest by taxpayers Add to that another $500 Billion of States & Muni debt and you start to get the picture...eh?#
To not account for the debt is like Muffnie on Welfare saying that her income is $50 K......$25K welfare + $25K maxing out the credit card!
Since 2013 the Libs racked up an average of $80 Billion a year on Comm Debt alone which was over 4% of GDP P/A
And the big joke: "They said they were better money managers"
This is a combined Governments annual interest bill of $50 billion/year and rising for the taxpayer to foot!
