Posters appear united in the view that this is all done. But what other companies could / would be interested?
To accept AGLs first bid seems a little too easy for me. Surely AGL didnt offer their max bid first go, and surely the MOS board would know this. Possible scenarios for accepting this offer;
1- the MOS board are gullible / poor negotiators
2- This isnt the first offer and the MOS board have already stretched AGL. If this is the case then why wasnt the first approach announced.
3- The MOS board believes another buyer is lurking but who
I will hold for a few more weeks to see what eventuates.
