chances ncm will reverse tomorrow?

what is it with all those huge amounts being put up to sell, everytime the sp threatens to move up (at low sp). i don't understand how it's profitable for them to force sell so many shares so cheap (unless they want to buy many many more much cheaper).

would that be shorters, selling more short shares to try to fool others into selling the stock down, so they can then cover their shorts (ie the original borrowed shares they sold plus all these others they they borrowed to keep the sp down)? If so, how bad can they be fried? surely that's madness?

i never get to see this normally as i work days, & can't watch the trading unfold. jumped in at 31.11 today, hoping that ncm reverses tomorrow.
