SG, how, & the rest of you day trading bulls, hope you made a few quid today.

SG, when you say "there were a few spikes worth trading, 30-.40 to 31 and 45 -70...", you mean you can take profits on that??? How many shares do you buy in one hit? Must be a monster load I guess?

You guys talking about straddles, do you buy puts on this stock once buying in? Would this be because you want to pull profits within 24-48 hours of buyin the stock? I do feel you're almost certain it will rise from $30-31 within days (at worst). So it's hard for me to fathom, from my strategically different viewpoint, why you're covering yourselves.
