The good thing is that the stacked formations offer multiple levels of speculation. Apparently Devon have also recently drilled horizontally into Canyon sands. BK Harris 3H was just completed, and they have already permitted a second horizontal into Canyon sands. So there's reason to believe that this is another viable option at Prymes disposal.

Gunn Oil have successfully drilled 40 wells around Capitola, the most recent well got 83bopd on an 8/64 choke from Ellenberger alone. I know it's not enough to make most O+G investors drool, but if there's a steady growth strategy on offer as a bottomline, speculation on the deeper more sexy formations becomes alot less risky.
