Just wondering what everyones thoughts on the ACCC giving the go ahead of Foxtels takeover of Austar - im reading various opinions from different sources, some saying there is no chance whatesover of it happening, some say it will go through - it appears from listening to the parties involved, they are confident of it happening.
I personally cant see a problem with the deal, but maybe i am overlooking some aspects of the takeover.
Whats everyoens thoughts? I got Austar cheap at about 95c a few months ago thinking the deal would go ahead and make a quick 50% profit, but obviously it was never gonna be as easy as that?
Ide like to get opinions here, cause ive still made a nice little markup at the moment, and if the deal isnt going through, probably best to dump now and inbvest elsewhere.
