I wouldn't worry too much. As Rexsh said, Waitsia gas will go to NWS, which will mean less supply domestically. Also, the WA government isn't stupid. If Strike and others find so much gas that they can guarantee domestic supply, I'm sure they will loosen the policy. No point forgoing additional state revenue. But this is a bridge we would need to cross way down the road AFTER a run of drilling success. In words, it will be a good problem to have if it ever eventuates.
