Don't get angry with ordinary Taswegians. They are heavily weighted in favour of progress and understand only too well that the State is in dire straits unless they can attract industry.

Youth unemployment in particular, growth, State revenue are all seriously impacted by the kind of opposition to progress that has been witnessed in Tasmania. If only the Greens and the environmentalists could understand that wilderness and industry can co-exist.

The locals have enough on their plates without uninformed comment blaming them for the current state of affairs.

Their State has been hijacked and they have been held to ransom and bounced backwards and forwards by the Greens and the tree huggers. Indeed a huge proportion of the "rent-a-crowd" aren't even from Tassie.

Give 'em a break and stick to the main issue.
