Help!
I've downloaded u.s. stock data in ASCII format to attatch to my metastock history I purchased. Problem is that the stock codes downloaded all have a full stop after the code (e.g. BHP.)where as my purchased history doesn't. How in a text ASCII format of 2000+ stocks can I remove these stops simply.I've tried saving it as an excel file and then delimiting it, but can't then change it back.
