Unfortunately the 2-strike rule has been watered down by the politicians in favour of the companies. There is now less opportunity for shareholders to demonstrate that they disagree with the companies remuneration report avoiding a spill of the board. Regardless of this I still urge shareholders to vote against the remuneration report this year so the chairman cannot cast his vote on behalf of non-voting holders. A haircut to executive pay is badly needed in Australia especially in non-performing executives who have wasted shareholder money in favour of their own pockets - disgraceful conduct. Don't forget VOTE against this year!
