No you are correct. The shares are cancelled thereby reducing the number of shares on issue. This tends to have a positive effect upon the sp.
What Proofreader is alluding too is that by buying them as cheaply as possible it means less money comes from the CFE bank account which we are all SH of too.
I guess the question is who does CFE reward the most? The loyal SH who has held on while the price drifts slowly upwards or the trader who buys and sells but appreciates the price expeditiously, both achieving the company objective of being correctly valued.
I wouldnt want to be having a daughter planning her wedding ceremony soon or the obedient son who deserves that car.
Guess they will have to wear Mum's wedding dress or borrow her car. Cause I aint selling.
