It has been proven many times over that analysts and broker recommendations statistically are wrong, i.e. one would actually make money if took the advice OPPOSITE to the 'recommendation'. This somehow is also an indicator that publicly available recommendations serve the only the one who issues it.
For example approx 18 months ago I prepared a list of the best BUY recommendations made by Reuters Research. And the result today ? Total loss of 82% and none of the recommendations was profitable. The 'best' lost ~ 35% !
