Comparing the latest release of the 20 top shareholders with the last list from Dec 2008 reveals only a minor change to a few top holders, but nothing material which begs the question, who the hell has been selling for the last 6 months! Previously about 130,000 shares a day would change hands and I can't believe day traders would bother with this stock, so who actually was selling?
The changes are HSBC sold 900,000, but still hold 8 million
ANZ Nominees Limited also sold 900,000 and still hold 2.3 million
UBS Wealth Management sold down 600,000 but still hold 640,000
Dynamic supplies are out at a 1 million shares and Denman Investments and Buratu Pty are both new at 1 million each and a couple of newbies in at No.13 and No.18 with 750,000 and 600,000 respectively.
With basically the same top 20 shareholders still owning approximately 53% of the 135 million shares on offer, it does beg the question who actually has been steadily selling these shares on market each and every day.
