Hey @Ruskin. The lines would be access roads at this stage. Note that the only 'progress' here is on the old Mardie S&P Project approval, not the more recent 'Optimised Mardie Project', or OMP, application.
To provide context, the following shows part of the OMP extension application, showing the enlarged crystalliser ponds, highlighted by a yellow outline. The original is highlighted by light blue/aqua so you will be able to follow that your snip from the sat photo is actually below the yellow OMP application.
BCI are only able to clear/develop 'approved' land currently, hence the horizontal line, showing the yellow 'undeveloped' land of OMP above.
The other interesting thing to note from my snip above is the 'SOP Plant' location, which is now to be replaced by the Salt Plant for the initial 'Salt First phase'. The salt will then be trucked to the Jetty for loading onto the jetty loader. Not ideal but a consequence of the cost cutting 'Base Case' announcement of mid 2023.
