Quite often sell off in stocks or buying in stocks occur before announcents hit the market, that makes perfect sense to me. That may of had something to do with why SLR was sold down prior to their announcement.


"SLR had been underperforming the sector recently so the recent negative news may have explained that underperformance.
ABU has been outperforming its peer group by a large margin and has outperformed many producers as well.
Considering that in particular, as well as the fact that just about every gold stock is down thanks to the lower gold price, why would you expect any bad news for ABU?
Makes no sense to me."


Chuk, are you trying to say that ABU has outperformed SLR recently?
ABU has out performed many producers and many others?
