As the biggest private shareholder and as the ******* who got us into this mess, he is certainly not a god. After the absolute sh*t financial results, I would have thought that he may at least have been contrite, apologetic or asking at least, a little forgiveness from the SH for his stuff up. But no; apparently it wasnt Karls fault ;......it was the fund !!!!!!!!!! The fund did it. The fund was overweight ARQ, The fund didnt perform !, The fund had the wrong stocks.... The fund was (possibly) lied to re ARQ, The fund, the fund, the fund..........
His remoteness from taking responsibility for the funds performance borders on arrogance. As I said, I havent been able to bring myself to see him get up in a 2 part video without any culpability and explain why "the fund" under or NON performed. Others are looking at the discount to NTA and saying that this is a good opportunity. It may be... but only if it performs ! Down by the lift, up by the stairs. Its going to take a fair while to recover the losses from this debacle and a fair while (i think) for investors to get any confidence in the manager, and certainly a fair while to get the SP up to the NTA. That assumes the NTA will rise, and not fall !!
