Spring has landed and I've just finished cutting a last bit of firewood. Probably not going to get that last rubbish pile burned unless I get a permit. Probably won't bother, not that it's a hassle. We always get strong winds in August but the last week was beyond normal in strength. And I see by the forecast (though my faith in BOM isn't what it was) that they will continue in September. The worst part of the August winds is that they come usually when some of the best blossoms are out, like the Manchurian Pears and they get decimated. So now it's time for the non stop mowing to start.
