That Master-Bates genre joke about Mr A Nis or Mr P Nis was translated from an Afrikaans language joke that I found on the Internet. I am surprised that HC wags have not added variations, like Messrs R Sole and R Slicker, or the name of the ubiquitous tradesman, C Ash.

Robert: I was named after my rich, childless and terminally ill maternal uncle, Robert Slicker, so his surname fits the bill nicely thank you.
