What date would suit you considering the first fleet arrived 18th Jan 1788 and it will still be called Australia day whatever date we set!
Malcolm Turnbull has been on TV trying to emphasise the day represents a celebration for all Australian of different race, creed and colour arriving in this country by however means, to celebrate our rich diversity and our wonderful country including the indigenous?.
1. Please name a date?
2. Will a date change alter the past?
3. Do you think you will ever be able to convince all Australians that the day represents first white settlement and the start of the genocide?
If you do prove the day represents first white settlement and the start of the genocide we must automatically remove it
4. Can you convince Australians to loose a public holiday?
If you have so much tie on yours hands what are you like at mowing lawns.
Sorry mate just trying to save you some effort and time

I don’t understand the points you are making, but I am on record as saying the day we become a republic is the day I would choose. Of course it won’t change history, but it would be a recognition of our diversity and that we have moved on from our colonial past. Not sure what the rest of your post means. Perhaps you can rephrase it?
