It's become such a political football Reaper. Labour's talking about a Treaty, the Libs are talking constitutional recognition, and apparently you can't have both due to legalities with "settlement" or "invasion". Add into the mix the fact that aboriginal groups can't agree on their preference it's become a bit of an impasse. Maybe a starting point could be an traditional peoples referendum to at least establish a preference? That way they're in control, and then the negotiations begin.
