I was out and about today and I looked around for all those wonderful examples of indigenous ingenuity - the infrastructure, the electricity, the roads and transport, the clean water, the food, the housing, the rule of law, the schools and hospitals, the communication systems and of the course a central government which provides for those who struggle. Colonisation has been such a disaster.
