what has changed is this. The process of renewal has begun. Over the next twelve months there will be a new Board , a new CEO , and a new Chairman. Some execs will have been fired. Big lessons will have been learned. Of course there will be a big fine and maybe even some criminal charges. There could also be a legal case against management for not making it clearer to those institutions that recently subscribed to the capital raising , although it was previously announced . So after all the dust settles, WBC will still be a major Australian Bank , highly profitable , and hopefully better run and still paying good dividends.
