. The purpose of superannuation is to prevent the individual from being a burden on the welfare system in retirement. It's not for the accumulation of wealth beyond that goal. Super shouldn't be a system that's a tax dodge for people who don't need a concessional rate of taxation, where the burden of those concessions are borne by current taxpayers paying higher rates.
