    I think they explained it pretty well in the announcement. The guys job was done, time for him and the company to continue their operations.

    - Why would they give any notice?
    - When mergers/acquisitions happen there's always changes, what did you think would happen?

    Yes, no-one like uncertainty, but personnel changes are commonplace in these situations.

    Maybe I am looking through rose coloured lenses.
