I've been having a look at the changes from last top 20 shareholders list (april) and the most recent in the Annual Report.
The additions are:
DBS VICKERS SECURITIES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD 54,970,000
CROSS STRAIT COMMON DEVELOPMENT FUND CO LIMITED 20,672,189
MERRILL LYNCH (AUSTRALIA) NOMINEES PTY LIMITED 1,884,329
HSBC CUSTODY NOMINEES (AUSTRALIA) LIMITED-GSCO ECA 1,828,713
Which in total adds up to 12.17% of the shares on issue.
Holders who have dropped off the top 20 are:
RENERGY PTY LTD 2,900,000
KATSU CAPITAL PTY LTD1,726,500
LONDON WALL INVESTMENTS PTY LTD1,725,600
COMWARE AUSTRALIA PTY LTD1,600,000
The Top 20 now hold 71.76% of the shares on issue. The April top 20 had the top 20 holding 64.37% so the top 20 have increased their holdings by 7.39%.
If they keep on going in this fashion the top 20 will hold the entire company in about 2 years time.
The question I ask is why are they increasing their holdings by so much? I think the answer might be a little obvious!!!!!
