+1 Eagle. It was the Magna Carta that first rolled back the absolute power of the monarch and made all subject to the laws of the land. That was 800 years ago. Just one snipped from the fascinating and epic history of the British Isles.

In the rush to embrace this new multi-cultural world there is this inexplicable disdain for the past that got us here. The culture in Australia makes it a wonderful place for migrants and indigenous and that culture comes from the people who are here and not the other way around.

I think most migrants get it. Just not molly-coddled hotcopper posters. I think migrants would find those strange indeed who dont advocate their culture when migrants themselves are proud of and celebrate their own.

For those cheering the erasing of an Anglo-Saxon past be careful what you wish for and what this new world might look like.
