wot next is the gas hydrate instability point, also temperature defined, and when this is reached the methane released molecule for molecule will have roughly 40 times the greenhouse effect of pleasant old CO2. There's a squillion quadrillion tonnes of the stuff just waiting to go.
My advice would be to sell up the beachfront house and move to the hills while you still can.
