Changing the environmental laws

Looks like the Feds are finally getting around to dealing with the elephant in the room; namely, the need to change the EPBC Act (in the face of vexatious litigants like STT/TNC):

I've been saying for months (if not years) that these green groups have been cutting off their noses to spite their faces, with respect to the way they've exploited this Act to delay/destroy projects they don't like. And now, the government has the perfect narrative to tell -  "look how this Act is being abused, it clearly needs to be loosened up".

The end result being that the green groups are going to have less legal means to object to genuine cases of environmental concern...a classic case of "the boy who cried wolf". They really and truly do have it coming to them.
