A day before yesterday, ASH announced market update after a long time. Read between the lines in the delay in updating market.
Most interestingly, weak underlying economic growth and burgeoning debt worries in China will have significant affect on Australian economy in days to come. This will be compounded by increasing expenses and below trend earnings and less disposable income.

So, It will be very hard for ASH to turn things around quickly. In my view, things will take longer than expected to recover in the present economic scenario.

Having debt in growing economy is good and a step forward. However, increasing debt in slowing and mature economy
frustrate everyone.

In my view, do not expect from ASH too much too soon. It will take a very very long time before it can move forward.
