Nickyjames I take your points about League/Union endless debate. I watch both but as you have realised, prefer union. What gets up my nose is the ignorant repeated disrespect the some prominent members of the League fraternity have for union esp Gould, M Johns and Geyer.
If you watch the Rugby Club or Super 15 Rugby, the commentators have the good grace and generosity of spirit not to constantly bag out the other code
My son is a first grade rugby player and in the past he has also played League. He's happy to watch both. Gould should realise that there are thousands of guys like my son who happily embrace both codes unless alienated by ignorant comments such as those he was making last night.
