When you were confused about the percentages and applying the $11.77 cap against fees, I explained it to you respectfully. Let's continue the discussion in an appropriate and informed manner.

I did acknowledge in my follow up post about omitting the cap.

If we use as an example a centre trading 12 hours per day, fees of $120 per day.

85% subsidy = $1.50 per hour charge to parent

12 hour session 10 hour session. 9 hour session
    5 days
    50 hours activity test. $175. $75
    3 days
    36 hours activity test. $ 54. $45
    2 days
    18 hours activity test. $ 78. $ 27

Five days 50 hours entitlement attending 12 hours a day, 5 days a week = subsidised care of $75 + $100 for full fee charges on the remaining hours. The same applies to 2 days on 18 hours, 6 hours of non subsidised care.

Goodstart have stated they are offering parents the option. It's up to parents to decide what suits their family best.
From your calculations it doesn't appear that you have calculated the full fee component, should a parent opt for the 12 hours.

Happy to discuss the above calculations.
