I’ve recently seen discussion on other forums about how the lithium charging efficiency varies greatly with charging rate. One poster on the LYC forum claimed charging efficiencies can even drop below 50% when using a supercharger. Could be hearsay, but then I saw this site that showed substantial differences at different rates - charging efficiencies as low as 80%(which means round trip efficiency would be lower still). Got me wondering whether ZBM2 efficiency at 80% round trip is more constant over a wider range of charge rates. And if so, is the effect big enough to counter concerns about round trip efficiency that I have until now thought might limit its utility in grid scale storage.
