The people with money probably don’t think too much about the price of fuel or how much tax is built into the price. Tesla owners probably like the idea of a quiet car that goes really fast. And they are fairly luxurious.
Whatever system of road user style tax is implemented I’m pretty confident it will raise a lot of revenue.
