Firstly Happy Mothers Day to all Mums present, past and about to be mothers.
This morning I ran in the 7.5km Mother's Day Classic for breast cancer research. I took my inspiration from two dear friends who died of cancer.
My major goal is to run in the 12km City to Bay in September and raise money for a bone cancer research foundation. Closer to the date I will post the details if you would like to donate for the cause.
My aim is to grow a team of people who run in the race to raise funds for the research foundation. A doctor who specialises in this cancer has informed me that 100% of the profits go to the research foundation. My next step in this journey is a 10km run in June. Stay tuned for further updates.
