Does anyone know if Canada has a UK Governor General approving its Parliamentary Legislation as Australia does ? I understand that in extremis, the UK monarch has the power to dissolve Aussie Parliament ..is that true? Or just Republicanism speak?
QE2 had style and class and a remarkable ability to be respected by all- irrespective of their views on the monarchy- in a way that no other Royal was.
